David is a Lead DevOps Engineer in the Operations and Network Engineering department at Swisscom, where he is engaged in the development of Swisscom's 5G service orchestration and slicing management systems, based on NFV, SDN, network automation and open source technologies. Prior to Swisscom, he worked for Nokia Bell Labs, Huawei Technologies and NTT Docomo, which enabled him to acquire a deep understanding of the challenges that the telco industry is facing on its journey towards virtualization, service automation and the adoption of open source.
David is member of the Linux Foundation and is actively participating in the ONAP community as BBS (Broadband Service) use case owner.
