It may not be that challenging to design and deploy hyper-scale data center network with over 100K servers in one single cluster. But it still remains challenging to get sufficient data from the network and fully automate the network operation. With the new programmable HW chip in the industry, the network telemetry capability has gone to next level. The HW chip is capable of providing not only some new network telemetry such as in-band network telemetry but also with high performance. In this presentation, we will share our experience of how to combine this new HW capability and our in-house intelligent SW to automate the operation of a hyper-scale cloud data center network.
