Bruce Thompson has over 36 years of experience in software development and system architecture, with focus on Voice / Video over IP and Network Function Virtualization. Bruce has been involved in a number of successful startup companies including Silicon Graphics and NVidia. Bruce joined Cisco Inc in 1996 and was a Distinguished Engineer from 2006 to 2017. Bruce has been named the inventor on 6 patents and is the author of 4 IETF RFCs. Bruce is now president of Thompson Internations Services LLC and represents Amdocs at ONAP, OPNFV, ETSI and other standards and Open Source organizations.
