Fernando (Fred) Oliveira is a Fellow in Verizon’s Network Technology Strategy, Architecture and Planning group, currently working on Network Automation Architecture.

Fred leads the ONAP Orchestration Scenarios/ETSI Alignment Task Force and participates in several ONAP sub-committees.

Fred has been a speaker at several forums, including previous Open Network Summits on Virtualization platforms, NFV and SDN topics. Fred holds 27 patents in the areas of Virtualization, System Software and Storage.
