With degrees in Electrical Engineering from City College of NY and Georgia Institute of Technology, George joined AT&T Bell Labs in 1982 and has held various leadership positions in systems engineering, network planning and engineering, network operations planning, network operations, software development, platform architecture, and program management. He has led and contributed to major AT&T network OSS evolutions and development initiatives, and major AT&T global network evolution initiatives including FASTAR, SONET, CNI, MPLS IP, IPTV, VoIP, Ethernet, LTE, SDN, and NFV networks.

George is currently leading a Technology Architecture & Design organization responsible for the Service Assurance systems supporting all of AT&T’s networks and services. Current focus is on ECOMP DCAE and ECOMP Controller supporting AT&T’s SDN and NFV initiatives.
