Kai Zheng (M’02–SM’12) received his PhD degrees from Tsinghua University, China, in 2006. He joined Huawei Technologies in 2015 as Chief Architecture and Director of the Protocol Research Lab. Before that, he was a senior research staff member of IBM. His current research interests include data center networking, network/protocol Intelligence, high performance NFV, IoT protocols, Mobile Communications, etc.
